Das Zimmer war geräumig, modern und schnörkellos eingerichtet. Das hat uns sehr gefallen, da wir nicht auf Kitsch oder auf alt getrimmte Unterkünfte stehen. Plus: Wir haben ein ruhig gelegenes Nichtraucherzimmer bekommen! Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich, wobei es leider etwas störend war, dass wir morgens von der Reinigungsdame unfreiwillig geweckt wurden (es war unser Hochzeitstag - wir wollten ausschlafen).

We stayed at Tavistock Hotel two times and we found here what we were looking for. It has a real sense of calm and serenity, more like a very upmarket serviced apartment complex rather than a bustling busy hotel.

It is the ideal hotel if you have no a lot of money but want to visit London !
