The Courthouse hotel is a precious historical place with really unusual past. The hotel attracts our attention with a plenty of dramatic sensational scenes which have taken place behind its walls. Earlier, on the spot of the Courthouse hotel there was situated the second oldest magistrate's court in England where such famous persons like Oscar Wilde, Mick Jagger, Napoleon III, John Lennon and Keith Richards were in the dock with a different time slice. Instead of three small sections of the bar there were the prison cells and the court of justice was instead of the present Silk restaurant. All interior is played up in conformity with that time with its judges' bench, witness stand, and dock, retaining the former atmosphere which is reigned at the hotel.

The Courthouse Hotel has 116 well-designed rooms available, ranging from the surprisingly spacious standard accommodations to gorgeous penthouse suites, offering a wide choice and excellent service. 13 suites are former judges’ robing rooms and the other 103 rooms are situated in a new wing of the former police station and shooting range. The preferred colour spectrum of rooms is in browns and creams with the terra cotta-coloured bathrooms.
Housed in the very center of London opposite Liberty's and Carnaby Street, just off Regent Street, the Courthouse Hotel is within striking distance of many London's sights and attractions.
In the evening you can relax in one of the hotel's restaurants: Silk, Waiting Room or Carnaby Brasserie. The Silk restaurant located on the first floor of old Number One courtroom can offer you the excellent cuisines of those countries through which took place the "Great Silk Way". So we can guess that the menu of the restaurant has an oriental emphasis of the Mediterranean world with its spices and herbs. The Waiting room is available for private hire and is perfect for married couples, which reflects a colonial style with palm trees in the center of the room, Venetian terrazzo and original glass ceiling. The restaurant bear such name due to its ancient history when the great villains and heroes were waiting for their turn to appear for hearing out a pronouncement of sentence. The Carnaby is an Italian brasserie with a separate street entrance where you can take pleasure in dishes of the Italian and French cookeries.
