The history of Claridge’s hotel traces its roots back to 1898. After some twenty years, the war started and London people had to leave their houses, but none of them wanted to leave the country. The Claridge’s hotel became a rescue for many aristocrats and famous people, such as king Peter of Yugoslavia, who moved to the hotel because of exile in 1941 and whose son were born in Suite 212. Something later, the PM W. Churchill proclaimed this very suite the territory of Yugoslavia.
Nowadays Claridge’s is an elegant, famous, luxury, royal, impressive, combining Edwardian and French styles hotel, still appreciated by the most well known personalities in the world. Every effort, made for this hotel, explains so evident peculiarity of Claridge’s. Just when you enter the foyer, your breath is taken away at the sight of 800-glass pieces chandelier and the richness of golden, wooden and purple colors. Another hotel’s peculiarity is the decorative painting. The gigantic arches, magnificent scares, floors, walls, ceilings, furniture - every mentioned above has its individual decor and combination of colors.
All 203 rooms are enormously cozy and beautiful, equipped with all necessary amenities. Our visitors are allowed just to relax, find peace of mind, delight with the stay and own existence. In every room, one can find pay movies, cable/satellite TV, internet access - dial-up, video-game console, hypoallergenic bedding available, climate control, bathrobes, hairdryer and other facilities.
The hotel provides you both smoking and non smoking rooms, fitness equipment, business services concierge services, security guard, multilingual staff, currency exchange and lots of other amenities to facilitate and beautify your stay.
For your dinning delight, the hotel prepared some agreeable places, like the Foyer for breakfast, coffee, afternoon tea or cocktails, Claridge’s Bar for wide range of drinks and light meals, Macanudo Fumoir especially for smokers. It is a place where one can enjoy the original cigars from the most famous places f the world, delivered just for the hotel’s visitors. At the hotel, you may savor tasty dishes of international cuisine, prepared with love by Gordon Ramsay himself.
Claridge’s hotel tried to gather all terrestrial and heavenly pleasures. This is one of the best and most luxurious hotels in the world.
Claridge’s has advantage of its location as well. It is within an easy access to airports and rail stations. Regent and Bond streets, as well as Grosvenor Square and Berkeley Square are very close to the hotel.

When I entered the Claridge hotel, I felt myself like in a fairy tale. Then when I saw the foyer, I did not want to go another place anymore. This very spectacular place captured my heart forever. Two places, where I spent my leisure, were foyer and reading room. I am turning now my house in the Claridge style. I think it is legal, as it is not the case of hotel's copyright.

Ich bin hier für 5 Nächte. Und fand hier eine freundliche Atmosphäre. Das Essen war auch gut.

My husband and I stayed at Claridges Hotel not so long, but these were very pleasant and memorable days. We took a penthouse with a private butler service. He made all our wishes come true, it was great! Most of all I liked there Health Club, having all the necessary equipment for keeping body in shape. I'd like to prolong our stay there!

We were extremely impressed with this hotel. The rooms were huge, clean, updated and the hotel restaurant was beautiful. The "check-in" staff was polite and smiling. The first person we met was very friendly. Claridges was amazing!
